Do You Ever Forget The Small Things?
By Michael | February 3, 2012
After I publish my Friday blog each week, I often wonder how I will come up with something to write about the next week. At some point, it seems the ideas will run out. What am I thinking?? This is parenting we are talking about, and the one thing parents never run out of… Continue reading »Carpet or Counter Top! How Do You Do Life?

Hello! Before you dig into the delicious recipes, I just wanted to share a quick note...
With crazy schedules of soccer practice, ballet recitals, piano lessons, tutors, school, and friends (not to mention your schedule!), I know the question of "what's for dinner?" can be an afterthought. Many times the 6 o'clock scramble sneaks up on us and we frantically start looking through our cupboards for things to throw together that might resemble a meal... or looking through drawers to find the pizza delivery number. We all want to feed our kids nutritious and delicious meals, but let's be honest - we are human and oftentimes exhausted! While a homemade meal from scratch every night is out of question for most of us, we can start with one or two family meals a week. This little amount of time together has more of an impact than we think. Growing up as a child with divorced parents, I shuffled between their homes weekly, but the rare sit-down meals I had with each of them are cemented fondly in my memory. I can still remember the smells, tastes, and conversations we had. Dinner together offers our kids connections, grounding, and personal attention. By providing you with weekly nourishing recipes that will reach even the pickiest of eaters, I hope to help your family come together and create similar memories that I am so fond of.
Without having to sort through cookbooks and try new recipes (with worries of it tasting terrible and going to waste), you can rest assured that one meal a week, I've got you covered to get a quick and healthy dish on the table in no time.
Here's to growing healthy (and stress-free) families together!!!
