Gratitude is the only word that comes to mind for 2011 – just simply thankful for all God’s done in my life and that of my family. I thought I may share just a few very brief thoughts with you here of a few of the milestones our family reached:
- My son turned 16 years old — wow! I’m WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too young for that.
- My oldest daughter entered high school.
- My husband turned 40. (You’re welcome, baby!)
- We launched the official non-profit, TLSM Ministries, to house all the work we have been doing for five years now. God has taken that and given us more opportunities to work with single parents and churches than we could’ve ever imagined.
- I released my second book, The Church and the Single Mom. And it soared to #1 on Ministry Resources on Amazon.com.
- My son learned to dunk the basketball successfully! (Okay, maybe not a milestone for you, but this momma had been waiting on that one!)
- And there are a hundred other things I could list for which I am so grateful. 2011 was a great year. 2012 will be better! I hope you have the same feelings about your 2012!
