Need help packing healthy lunches for the kiddos?

The first step is to get organized.

Join me as I show you how to pack a yummy meal…without all the brain damage.

Here’s the link for Laptop Lunches – www.laptoplunches.com.

They ROCK!

Also, here is an example of how you can make your list, and then play the mix ‘n’ match game.

For example:

Protein

Turkey

Cheese stick

Eggs

Hummus

Peanut Butter

Starch

Tortillas

Pita bread

Whole grain crackers

Pasta

Whole wheat bread

Fruit

Grapes

Apple

Raisins

Tangerine

Applesauce

Veggies

Carrots

Edamame

Celery

Tomatoes

Peppers

Treats

Whole-grain pretzels

Yogurt tube

Gold fish

Cereal Bar

Veggie Bootie

Here are some meal ideas using the above list:

Meal One: turkey on tortilla, grapes, tomatoes, yogurt tube

Meal Two: peanut butter on apple, cheese stick, carrots, pretzels

Meal Three: hummus w/pita bread, applesauce, edamame, cereal bar

Meal Four: hard boiled egg, pasta salad, peppers w/salad dressing, raisins, gold fish

Meal Five: turkey on bread, tangerine, celery w/peanut butter & raisins, veggie bootie

You can keep using these four or five items and just switch things around, or come up with a bigger list and have more to rotate.  Pretty fun right?

See how the Laptop Lunch makes it even easier?  When you order, you’ll also get a great little booklet with all sorts of delicious recipes and lunch ideas.

As said, if you’d like more specific ideas for your family, please leave a comment below and I’ll get back to you with ideas.

Have a wonderful week!

  1. At what age is it appropriate, if ever, to give kids Soy products?

I would love to give my 3.5 year old tofu hot dogs but was told it's not good for kids especially boys.

  2. Great article! I've been making my kids lunches the last three years. We love the various bento-style boxes we've found and getting creative with healthy food.
